Easily Repair A Tear In Your Abstract Painting
If you work vigorously on paper and tear your painting, have no fear! You can easily repair a rip or tear in your abstract painting.
In a previous video I showed you how to patch the tear from behind.
In this video, I show you how to repair the tear in your painting from the front after the patch has dried.
There are several ways to repair a torn painting and this is one of my favorites.
Another Option: Patching With Collage
Another way is to patch the painting from behind and then patch it from the front as well with a collage element. In this case, consider threading collage elements through the piece so the patch doesn’t appear isolated in the painting.
